Micro EDM

Micro Electrical Discharge Machining (Micro EDM) is a precision fabrication technique that uses electrical discharges (sparks) to machine extremely small and intricate parts with high accuracy. This process is capable of cutting or drilling minute components with complex shapes out of hard conductive materials, which are often difficult to machine using traditional mechanical cutting processes. Micro EDM is particularly valuable in the production of micro-sized molds, dies, and components for the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. The technique is notable for its ability to produce parts with fine details and excellent surface finishes while minimising the mechanical stresses that can occur with other machining methods.
